— The Durham County Sheriff's Office upgraded charges against a Durham man Monday after the man he allegedly shot died of his wounds.

Rashad Ahmad Adams, 20, is wanted for shooting James Warren Holsclaw, 21, on Wednesday at 1002 Cortez St.

Adams is described as a black man with brown eyes and black hair. He is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds, with tattoos on his chest, neck and left arm. Authorities said he may be driving a dark sedan like a Lincoln or Crown Victoria.
