Children's Business Fair at Park West Village
Last year, we had a couple of events for kids to sell their products and services. They were part of a national network of Children's Business Fairs designed to fuel entrepreneurship in the next generation.

In the Triangle, events were held at Park West Village in Morrisville and North Hills in Raleigh. The farmers' market-like events feature businesses owned by kids, ages 6 to 14.

As I've written before, the fair will return to Park West Village. It's scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Aug. 19. The application deadline for kid-owned businesses is July 21. The event's website has more information.
For the first time, there's also a fair planned in Durham from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sept. 17, at Acton Academy Durham, 1201 W. Woodcroft Parkway. The Durham fair will host 25 booths. An application for the fair is on the Durham fair's website.

No date has been set for a Raleigh fair, but the website says it's "coming soon."
