Attention Durham County families: Durham's Partnership for Children has launched a poster contest for babies to five year olds.

Entries are being accepted from now until March 28 for the "Week of the Young Child: Early Years are Learning Years" poster contest. The winner will receive a library of 15 hardcover, paperback and board books for readers ages birth to five. The winning poster will be featured on the Partnership's Facebook and blog. Top entries will be displayed at participating outlets and agencies during the Week of the Young Child, which is April 14 to April 20.

Entries must be from kids who live in Durham County.

The group's mission is to "mobilize and unify the Durham community to create and support innovative and successful collaborative approaches to serving the needs of young children birth to age 5 and their families," according to its website.
