Durham's Life and Science museum considers half-day program for preschoolers
Posted July 9
The Museum of Life and Science in Durham is contemplating launching a new program for preschoolers. But, before anything starts, they need some input from parents.
Right now, the museum is considering offering a half-day morning program on Tuesdays through Fridays for kids ages 3 to 5. No more than 16 children would be in the group. Pricing, according to the museum, hasn't been set, but they are contemplating tuition of about $650 per month. The museum is closed on Mondays from Labor Day to Memorial Day, which is why this would be a four-day program.
The program could open as soon as September if demand is high, but officials are targeting fall 2018.
If you're interested, the museum would love to hear from you through their preschool interest online survey.
