<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — <strong><a href="https://www.wral.com/Durham/Restaurants-Bars/Mesa-Latin-Kitchen/10836462/">Mesa Latin Kitchen</a> </strong>has temporarily closed its doors, owners said Monday.

The announcement came via an email to fans of the restaurant, which is located at 2701 Hillsborough Road in Durham.

"We will be temporarily closed until further notice due to construction work at the restaurant. We will notify you when we are able to open back up. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thanks for your patience," the note stated.

Mesa opened its doors just over a year ago. The location was previously home to Gregoria's Cuban Steakhouse.
