Posted April 14, 2014

— The Durham Rescue Mission will host its annual Easter Community Dinner on Friday at noon.

More than 400 volunteers will give away 1,300 Easter baskets to at-risk children. Free food bundles and free clothing will also be handed out while supplies last, and children will be able to win prizes in carnival-style.

Last year's event provided more than 1,585 meals and 1,052 Easter baskets.
