Durham police seek to identify men in robbery

Durham police released descriptions of three men they believe robbed two other men at gunpoint at Angier Avenue and Stokes Street shortly before midnight Wednesday.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police released descriptions of three men they believe robbed two other men at gunpoint at Angier Avenue and Stokes Street shortly before midnight Wednesday.

Police said one man might go by the name D.J. and was noticeably smaller than the other two. He was described as a black man, between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds. He had short black hair. He wore dark clothing, including a black hooded shirt, a black bandanna over his mouth and a ball cap.

The other two were black men, approximately 15 to 19 years old. They were between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed between 145 and 165 pounds. Both had short black hair and wore dark clothing, including black hooded shirts.
