Durham police seek to ID robbery suspect

Durham police have released a photo of a possible suspect in a September robbery that injured a woman.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police have released a photo of a possible suspect in a September robbery that injured a woman.

Police said the woman was leaving a business at 1901 Hillandale Road shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Sept 8 when a man knocked her to the ground and took her purse. He was last seen running toward Loehmann's Plaza.

The woman suffered foot, back and arm injuries.

The man was described as black, with a dark complexion, shoulder-length dreadlocks and a muscular build.
