Durham police seek tips in stabbing case

Durham Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in a stabbing that took place Sunday morning in East End Park.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in a stabbing that took place Sunday morning in East End Park near the intersection of Mallard Avenue and Neville Street.

Police said a man was sleeping in the park when he was stabbed at around 5 a.m. He was taken to Duke University Hospital, where he was in critical condition Monday.

No description of the suspect was available.
