Durham police seek leads in 2010 unsolved case

Durham, N.C. — Investigators are reaching out to the public for information in the death of a woman whose body was found in some Durham woods nearly two years ago.
An officer searching for a burglary suspect found the body of Crystal Lynn Baker, 24, of Durham, near Chandler and Ross roads in eastern Durham on Jan. 22, 2010.
Baker, who was last seen in the area of the Budget Inn on Holloway Street, had been stabbed dozens of times, including 21 times in the face, eight times in the back and three times in the abdomen, according to an autopsy report.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
