Durham police seek driver in officer-involved shooting

Durham, N.C. — Durham police are searching for the driver of a dark gray 1992 Honda Accord who was involved in a chase and shooting Wednesday afternoon.
An officer stopped the car shortly after 3 p.m. in the area of Southerland and Holloway streets, and a passenger fled on foot. Officers followed, and at some point, shots were fired.
No one was injured. The passenger was taken to the police department for questioning.
The driver fled the scene.
Aerial video footage showed several police cars and crime scene tape surrounding a Marathon gas station near the intersection of Southerland and Holloway streets shortly after the incident.
No other information was released.
