Let the man have his day in court before you destroy his life.

Best quote all day!!! I dint know any details, but just because someone is accused of something doesn't mean they actually can be proven guilty. Firing him before he is tried is punishing someone before due process.....nobody should get that Cop or not.

Not defending this guy, but women do lie, to get back at men. Maybe this woman is just really mad at him. Maybe he just broke up with her. Maybe he really did assault her. You don't know and neither do I. That's why there is an investigation. Instead of convicting him in this court of public opinion, why not wait for all of the facts to be revealed? Certainly, you people cannot be saying that he is guilty, simply because he was arrested. There is no report of any injuries. There is no report of any mugging. There is no report of abuse. There is only a report of an arrest. Nothing more, nothing less.

Why don't we all wait and get the full story before condemning this officer for that he did (SUPPOSEDLY)... anyone remember the little Duke Lacrosse thing...???

So, I guess those of you who are rushing to judgement did not read the other story on this page about two men who had been convicted of murder being released. Things may not always be what they seem. Hopefully, our justice system will be fair in this and all instances. Just like everyone else in society, officers are innocent until proven guilty.

that's sure a lot of detail ... its a police officer so I suppose there are special handling for those above the law.
