Durham police were searching for a small, burgundy car after a man was shot in the stomach, back and backside late Monday.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police were searching for a small, burgundy car after a man was shot in the stomach, back and backside late Monday.
Officers said they found the shooting victim, whose name was not released, at 2809 Crest St. in the yard. The man was taken to Duke Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A small, burgundy vehicle (possibly a Toyota Corolla) was seen leaving the scene of the crime, police said.
