Durham police look for person of interest in homicide

— The Durham Police Department asked on Wednesday for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in the death of William Davis.

Davis was found dead near the intersection of West Piedmont Avenue and Scout Drive on April 12.

Anyone with information about the homicide is asked to call Sgt. Jack Cates at 560-4440, ext. 262, Investigator D. C. West at 560-4440, ext. 259 or CrimeStoppers at 683-1200.     I think William Davis is the guy with one leg who sold newspapers in Durham.
