Durham police are investigating after a body was found Sunday afternoon in a parking lot on N.C. Highway 55.

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — Durham police are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found Sunday afternoon in a parking lot on N.C. Highway 55.

At 5:11 pm., officers were dispatched to 4220 N.C. Highway 55 regarding a deceased person call. Upon arrival, they found the body of a 28-year-old man in the parking lot. 

The identity of the victim was withheld pending notification of family members.

Anyone with information about the death is asked to call 919-560-4440, or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases and callers never have to identify themselves.
