Durham police investigating fatal shooting

— A person was shot and killed Thursday evening in the 300 block of South LaSalle Street, Durham police said. 

Officers responding to the area about 9 p.m. found the JeJuan Jonteil Taylor, 19, inside a vehicle near building 44 of the Duke Manor Apartments. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200.

    Raleigh police seem to be doing it more than Durham lately though....Senseless shootings are on the rise everywhere and people cant just cant try and blame Durham for it all anymore. Raleigh hits the headlines with shootings more lately so far this yr and Fayettville is even higher. Its an alarming increase everywhere..
