Police make arrest in Durham robbery

Durham police are looking for a suspect who robbed a PNC Bank on North Roxboro Street on Saturday morning.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police have arrested a man who robbed a bank on North Roxboro Street on Saturday morning.

Authorities have charged Michael Hugh Wood, 45, with one count of common-law robbery. Wood is not in custody, and he is also wanted on charges in Wake County, officials said..

Officials said Wood was taken into custody on North Driver Street Saturday night.

Around 10:10 a.m., Wood entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. No weapon was seen. The man stole an undisclosed about of money.
