Durham Police Investigate Shooting Death

— Durham police are investigating a homicide that occurred Wednesday night near the intersection of Liberty and Elm streets.

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at 9:03 p.m. When they arrived, they found a male who appeared to be shot lying on the sidewalk. The male, whose identity has not been determined at this time, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further information is available.

    When is the crime in Durham going to stop. It's always something going on in Durham. I home would never be there.
