Durham Police investigate shooting death
A Durham man died early Friday morning after being shot in a home on Hearthside Street late Thursday, police said.

DURHAM, N.C. — A Durham man died early Friday morning after being shot in a home on Hearthside Street late Thursday, police said.
Officers responding to calls about a shooting found the man inside a home at 1307 Hearthside Street just after midnight.
He had been shot in the chest, police said. His name has not been released.
Detectives were still on the scene early Friday morning trying to determine what happened. No one has been charged in the shooting.
