Durham police investigate shooting, chase
Police were questioning three men Thursday evening after a shooting and chase in Durham.

Shortly before 6 p.m., a man was shot in the 1200 block of Spruce Street, police said. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. His name and condition were not released.
A short time later, a Durham police officer spotted a vehicle matching the description of the gunman's vehicle. The officer tried to initiate a traffic stop, but the driver refused to stop.
The chase ended on Evans Street, a dead-end off Cornwallis Road.
The three men inside the vehicle were taken to Durham Police Headquarters. No charges have been filed.
No one was injured in the chase.
