— Investigators looking into an early Tuesday morning sexual assault are trying to determine where the crime took place.

Police initially said the assault happened on the 4700 block of Hope Valley Road. A woman told officers she was waiting for a ride shortly after midnight when a man dragged her behind a business and sexually assaulted her, police said. The woman was taken to a hospital for minor injuries.

Police on Wednesday said further investigation has determined the crime did not happen on Hope Valley Road. Authorities released no further information about the incident.

If the guy is still on the loose I'd say a physical description would be pretty important...

Did you need to know the suspect was black, the avoid this part when it comes to a white male all the time.

They are too focused on pushing a polical agenda. This is not the place to come for news/truth

Yes WRAL has forgotten what REPORTING is!

Of course WRAL won't report the suspect is black. You have to go to WTVD to read "The suspect was described as a black man, possibly in his 30s. He was approximately 6 feet tall with a large build. He was bald and had almond shaped eyes, a narrow nose and high cheek bones. He was wearing a black T-shirt, khaki pants, and sneakers. "
