Durham police investigate homicide
Durham police are investigating the death of a woman who was found dead in the woods near Chandler and Ross roads in eastern Durham on Friday.
Posted — UpdatedAn officer searching the woods for a break-in suspect found the body of a woman around 12:25 p.m. The woman’s death is being investigated as a homicide.
The woman has not been identified, and investigators haven’t released a cause of death.
