Durham police investigate death near old rock quarry
Durham police on Sunday were investigating a death at the old rock quarry at the end of Denfield Street, off North Roxboro Street.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police on Sunday were investigating a death at the old rock quarry at the end of Denfield Street, off North Roxboro Street.
Authorities found the body of a 35-year-old man around 11 a.m.
The Durham Fire Department and the Durham County Sheriff’s Department are assisting with the incident, Durham police said.
Investigators weren’t sure how the man died, but said they don't believe it was a homicide. The man's name was not released.
