Durham police identify man shot, killed Monday

Durham police on Tuesday identified a man who was shot and killed early Monday morning.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police on Tuesday identified a man who was shot and killed early Monday morning.

Garrett Harrison, 21, of Durham, was found around 4:30 a.m. lying in front of an apartment in the 4800 block of University Drive, according to police.

Harrison was taken to the hospital for treatment, but he died from the injury.

Police said the shooting does not appear to be random, and no charges have been filed.
