Durham Police Chase Car After Hearing Shots Fired

— Durham police were investigating circumstances that led to a car chase that ended with a wreck Monday morning.

Authorities said they heard shots fired from a car at about 2:15 a.m. Officers chased the car, and it struck several vehicles before running off the road at N.C. Highway 55 and Carpenter Fletcher Road.

Officers arrested two men, whose names were not released. No one was injured.

    The hard-working, good officers at work.........there are hundreds of thousands of good cops out there, and a few bad ones. The bad ones usually rise up and show their character and get booted, so always remember there are many, many good ones out there!! Don't dwell on the very, very small number of bad ones. The good ones are trying to do a good job for you, the public, all the time and risk their lives daily.
