Let's see if the driver of the truck gets a stiffer sentence than the schoolbus driver who wrecked and killed another motorist. The schoolbus driver got 30 days suspended sentence and 18 months unsupervised prohbation for a charge of involuntary manslaughter. It will be interesting to see if the truck driver gets a harsher sentence.

My best to the officer and the other driver.

AND a reminder that blinking red means the same as a stop sign AND means that the driver facing it does not have right of way. Blinking yellow means the driver has the right of way but still needs to watch out for the inattentive.

I sometimes wonder if we wouldn't be better off without those blinking lights; this intersection can be pretty frightening, and doesn't need to be.

Here we go again!! This Headline is EXTREMELY misleading. When I read it I assumed that a Police Officer was at fault. Why didn't it read: Truck runs red light, struck by Police Cruiser
