— A man wanted in a residential break-in and theft in Durham is also being sought in connection with a drug-store robbery, police said Friday.

Durham police are asking for the public’s help in finding Peter Warren Chambers, 23, of Mahone Street, who is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of kidnapping.

Police said Chambers, wearing a black bandana to cover part of his face, went into the Rite Aid on Woodcroft Parkway on April 26 and demanded money from an employee. Two employees were forced into an office at gunpoint.

Chambers also is accused of breaking into a home on Mayruth Drive in February and stealing cash and a television. Police said he also stole a television in May.

Anyone with information on Chambers is asked to call police at 919-560-4415, extensions 29309 or 29310, or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200.

Crime Stoppers pays cash for information leading to an arrest, and callers may remain confidential.

If you're just nice and not violent about stealing millions from hundreds of people, you get to keep some of what you steal and only get a few years in a country club jail?
