DURHAM, N.C. — A man wanted in a residential break-in and theft in Durham is also being sought in connection with a drug-store robbery, police said Friday.

Durham police are asking for the public’s help in finding Peter Warren Chambers, 23, of Mahone Street, who is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of kidnapping.

Police said Chambers, wearing a black bandana to cover part of his face, went into the Rite Aid on Woodcroft Parkway on April 26 and demanded money from an employee. Two employees were forced into an office at gunpoint.

Chambers also is accused of breaking into a home on Mayruth Drive in February and stealing cash and a television. Police said he also stole a television in May.
