Durham men facing armed robbery charges

— Durham police arrested two men this week on charges of armed robbery.

Mark Laney, 22, of Parkridge Court, was being held Monday morning in the Durham County jail on $800,000 bond on charges of  robbery with a dangerous weapon, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy, breaking and entering, larceny, assault with a deadly weapon and kidnapping.

Keith Laney, 19, of Archdale Drive, faces similar charges. He was arrested at about 8 p.m. Tuesday on Misty Creek Circle. His arrest was the result of a Crime Stoppers tip, authorities said.

    Don't send them to prison. The taxpayers have to take care of them. Send them to Iraq.

    The person that is hiding this man should also be charged when caught. I hope they know what they are doing if they don't want to go to prison. Turn him in, its not worth it at all.

    More young people. Send them on to prison, where they may see they will have to obey and listen or pay the consequences of their actions while there. Mommy and daddy will not be able to help them there. They should have listend a long time ago. Now they will pay.
