Durham man wanted in four break-ins surrenders to police

Durham police are asking for help from the public to find Traquan Marquez Adams, who is charged with breaking into four homes in southern Durham over the past two weeks.

DURHAM, N.C. — A man who was charged with breaking into four homes in southern Durham over the past two weeks turned himself in Saturday afternoon, police said.

Traquan Marquez Adams, was being held in the Durham county jail under a $250,000 bond.

Police said Adams, 18, of Beechwood Drive broke into into two homes on Spring Meadow Drive, one home on Cilantro Court and one home on Ainsley Court.

Three of the burglaries happened after dark, and one homeowner was home when Adams broke in, police said.
