Yes we must have more guns..that will sove this problem.. Are you nuts?

All the counties have crime and Chapel Hill has its own too. Plenty of shootings at the clubs there and UNC went on lock down a few nights a few yrs back over it. Its nothing new there and a few clubs shut down over it in the area. Just last week two teens from Raleigh came to Durham and car jacked a man and shot him dead...Does that mean that all of Raleigh is bad then? Plenty of crimes in Durham are from people living outside of Durham too..Look at the Wake arrest photos and they outnumber Durhams in frequency and then say its just Durham with crime. Crime is crime no matter where it happens and glad they got this guy and he spend MUCH time in prison. A convicted felon already he should get no deals or breaks in his time and they should double the time.

I just think its a shame that everyone always blames everything on the minorities. . . and I looked at the pics of the people that had been arrested lately on the WRAL website. Why are there so many minorities in prison. Could it be because they think the world owes them something, or just a coinsidence? They go to Chapel Hill because they've already robbed everyone in Durham at least once.

How come all the Durham criminals go over to Chapel Hill to rob and shoot people? Is it because Chapel Hill is generally anti-gun and provides plenty of opportunities for defenseless victims.

I wonder if this guy had a permit to carry a gun? From what's available here, I would assume he possessed the firearm legally. kbrianf

FYI- you don't need a permit to carry openly... only to carry concealed.

(unclear from the story which he was doing)
