Durham man sought by police

— Police in Durham are looking for a man wanted on kidnapping and firearms charges.

Nicholas Maurice Beatty, 26, of North Roxboro Street, is wanted on charges of kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, assault with a deadly weapon, assault by pointing a gun, discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling, communicating threats and discharging a firearm within the city limits.

The charges stem from what police say is a "domestic incident" that happened Sunday.

Beatty is known to frequent the 2500 block of North Roxboro Street and Fairfax Road. He might be driving a black GMC Yukon or a gold Mercedes.

    What year are the cars.....how about some more information. But this Nit Wit is probably driving the Gold Mercedes.....thinking it will blend in. And aren't most men in Durham sought by the police?
