Durham man pleads guilty to killing mother of his child
Cory Jiggets, 20, a former student at Northern High School in Durham, will serve a sentence of 19 to 25 years in prison for the murder of Skye Moniqua Lee.

Lee was found dead in her apartment at 3628 Keystone Place on March 30, 2008, when officers responded to calls about a shooting. Her 10-month-old son was inside the apartment unharmed, police said.
Jiggets is the child’s father. As part of his sentence, he is forbidden to contact the boy or any members of Lee’s family.
