A Durham man was charged with murder Saturday after a woman was found stabbed to death inside her home. 

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — A Durham man was charged with murder Saturday after a woman was found stabbed to death inside her home. 

Officers found April Denise Mitchell, 49, of 810 Pauli Murray Place, dead shortly after 9:30 a.m. <br />

Investigators charged Kevin Jerome Murray, 51, with murder. Officers say Mitchell rented a room in the home from Murray.

Murray was being held without bond Sunday in the Durham County jail.
