Police say Harris shot Larry Donnell Timberlake, 52, of East Point, Ga., several times in the parking lot of Red Lobster, at 4416 Chapel Hill Blvd., on Aug. 10, 2010. Moments after that shooting, police say, 30-year-old Robert Terry, of Durham, was found sitting inside a car in the parking lot of the AMF Durham Lanes bowling alley with a gunshot wound to the arm.

Both victims were taken to Duke University Hospital, where Timberlake died a short time later. Terry was treated and released.

good ole durham , shows up nearly on a daily basis with the words , shooting, stabbing , gang , or violence in the story, as for the comment on gun sales soaring , you dang well better have a gun in durham so you protect your own self.

if it wasn't a gun it would've been a knife or machete or something else...you can impose all the rules and laws you want, but if you want something bad enough, like a gun, you can find it.

The gun lobbyists love the fact that gun sales are soaring... and until this gun crazyness reaches their neighborhoods and city steets, they will not care (except for the profits).
