Durham man arrested for alleged home invasion

Durham police used a Crime Stoppers tip to help them locate a suspect in a July 15 home invasion. Officers arrested Adrian Whoie , 26, of Iveywood Lane Thursday evening.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police used a Crime Stoppers tip to help them locate a suspect in a July 15 home invasion. Officers arrested Adrian Whoie, 26, of Iveywood Lane, Thursday evening.
Whoie and Clarence Leon Davis, 20, of West Piedmont Street, are charged with felony conspiracy, second-degree kidnapping, first-degree burglary and larceny. Davis was already in custody, on charges he participated in a robbery and shooting at a Durham Comfort Inn.

Residents told police three men broke into the home on Nation Avenue, held them at gunpoint and took phone and televisions.
