Durham homicide suspect captured at hotel
Authorities on Friday arrested a man wanted in the homicide of a Durham man who was found dead in the street last week.

According to Durham police, Christopher Terrell Stanback, 25, of Summit Street in Durham, was captured by members of the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, who found him at the Extended Stay America on Tower Boulevard.
Durham police said the officers also arrested 27-year-old Cephus Stanback at the hotel. He was wanted on multiple charges, including possession of marijuana and cocaine with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and child abuse.
The charges against Cephus Stanback are not connected to the homicide. Police did not say whether the men were related.
Christopher Stanback was wanted in the June 18 fatal shooting of Jermaine Andrea McDonald, 37. Durham police officers responded to a 911 call about 11:40 a.m. and found McDonald dead in the street in the 100 block of North Hyde Park Avenue.
