— A Durham County deputy and a 17-year-old were injured Thursday morning in a collision at the intersection of Angier Avenue and Pleasant Drive, police said.

Lauryn Hill was making a left turn from Pleasant Drive onto Angier Avenue shortly before 7:30 a.m. and pulled in front of a patrol car driven by Deputy M.C. Smith, police said.

Smith and Hill were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries that police said weren't life-threatening.

No charges have been filed, but the accident remains under investigation.

Let me guess who will be charged for the accident. ..hmmm, the 17 year old girl, making a left turn, or the officer who ran into her? My money is on the girl. Unless the dashcam shows different. I'm glad they are both okay. That is a blessing
