Durham County Commissioners to Discuss Stadium Improvements

Durham County commissioners will discuss improvements Tuesday for a stadium and how to pay for them.

Commissioners will consider a capital improvement plan that includes about $4 million in basic repair work for the Durham County Stadium.

Shaw University plans to use the 50-year-old facility for its football games.

    politics. Spend money and ask for tax increase. Wake up
    dumbham voters and get these jokers out of office before they
    put you in the poor house.

    This is just a dumb waste of money. There are dozens of modular classroom trailers in use around the county, but they are going to spend money on a stadium. Dumb, dumb move.
