Blessed she's safe, but why was she reported as missing in the first place?
C'mon folks - start using these alerts more carefully or people will stop paying attention to them altogether.

sounds like she may have some mental issues. i know a woman who has done the same thing as a result of bipolar issues. sad and difficult for the family to deal with.

Obviously she told her friends and family where she was going and they did not believe her. This is what messes things up about missing people. Please listen the next time someone tells you they are going wherever. Its there business really, but look at the tax dollars wasted trying to located her. Glad she was alive when found.

I hope she had a nice trip. Please keep us all posted on any of her future comings and goings. Does anybody know where she's planning to go next?

I don't get why this is making headlines either. She's a grown woman who said she was going to NY, she went, she came back. If she didn't want to call anyone while she was away then that's her call. She's 49.

"McMillan had told a family member that she was going to New York City."

doesn't sound missing to me. sounds like a grown woman that does what she says she's gonna do!

So, if she told people that she was going to NYC, and then came back from NCY, how was she missing?

That was my initial question, too. But I'm assuming maybe none of her family or friends heard from her once she reached NYC, and were thinking something might have happened to her?
