This was a horrible accident. ...My husband was the Driver of that dump truck. .. Thank God he is going to be ok..A long recovery ahead of him..However. .Let's keep in mind there is a young man the same age as our son fighting for his life right now.. So i ask to PLEASE keep this young man and his family in you prayers. ..This can happen to anyone. .

A young man is fighting for his life and all some of you can talk about is the use of the word "accident".

@mlvanderveer..I'm pretty sure is was horrible to watch. I know the family personally and it is very hard on them.

That car was driving erratically prior to hitting that dump truck. Ran stop signs prior and all. It was horrific to have witnessed something so terrible, then to hear screams of someone needing help and there is nothing that you can do. We were on the scene prior to EMS or emergency personnel.

Its refreshing to see someone else FINALLY understand that labeling car crashes and shootings "accidents" infers nothing could have been done to prevent it. And nothing could be further from the truth.

looks like a head on collision.

Thanks for the picture of the wreck and not describing it an "accident".
