— A dump truck ran through a red light and into a passenger car just south of I-540 Tuesday morning, according to North Carolina Highway Patrol.

Troopers report that Johnathan Walker was northbound on Creemoor Road when he ran a red light and struck a Nissan Altima waiting to turn left onto the I-540 ramp.

The driver of the Altima was taken to Wake Med. His injuries were not life-threatening.

Walker will be charged with running the red light, police said.

With a name like Jonathan Walker, it's good this wasn't a case of DUI!

"A dump truck ran through a red light and into a passenger car on I-540 Tuesday morning..."

Just how does one run a stop light on an interstate?
