WAKE FOREST, N.C. — Police closed the intersection of Heritage Lake, Forestville and Rogers roads on Wednesday morning following an accident involving a dump truck, officials announced.
They said the intersection would be closed for several hours following the 9:11 a.m. accident.
A dump truck with the dump body raised tried to drive through the intersection and pulled down traffic signals and power lines, a spokesman for the town said.
