Durham, N.C. — A Duke University graduate student was killed after an automobile wreck on Wednesday, university officials said.
Ryan Paul Exline, 22, of Russell, Penn., was a first-year student at Duke’s Nicholas School of Environment, officials said in a release. He was pursuing a master of environmental management degree in ecosystem science and conservation.
No information was available about the wreck or where it occurred, Duke’s Director of Media Relations Keith Lawrence said Friday.
A memorial service will be held at the Nicholas School in January following winter break.
