Duke employee dies of injuries from moped crash
Saber Benson, 26, of Chapel Hill, was trying to pass through the iron gate on Union Drive as it was closing at 11:45 p.m., a campus police spokesman said.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — A campus employee who crashed his moped at Duke University Saturday night has died, a university spokesman said.
Saber Benson, 26, of Chapel Hill, was trying to pass through the iron gate on Union Drive as it was closing at 11:45 p.m., a campus police spokesman said.
Benson is an employee at The Loop Pizza Grill in Duke's West Union building.
Police found alcohol at the crash scene and are trying to determine if it was involved in the crash.
