— The Highway Patrol is investigating a hit and run in Durham County early Wednesday.

Troopers said a pick-up truck headed southbound hit a car at a stoplight near Hebron Road.

The truck, which was described only as an older, dark-colored model, drove away and was last seen headed towards Roxboro Road.

Four women in the car were taken to nearby hospitals. Two were being treated at Duke University Hospital and the others were taken to Durham Regional Hospital. They are expected to be okay, troopers said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Highway Patrol.

Great description of truck. At least it has damage done to it so maybe it can be identified.

Why then did they not stop? There must of been some no good reason that they did not stop and help these women. I don't need to be a judge, jury or executioner to know they are guilty of leaving a scene of an accident.
