Troopers said a pick-up truck headed southbound hit a car at a stoplight near Hebron Road.

The truck, which was described only as an older, dark-colored model, drove away and was last seen headed towards Roxboro Road.

Four women in the car were taken to nearby hospitals. Two were being treated at Duke University Hospital and the others were taken to Durham Regional Hospital. They are expected to be okay, troopers said.
