Driver sought in Cary hit-and-run
Cary police are searching for the driver of a Dodge Ram pickup truck who fled after striking another vehicle on Kildaire Farm Road early Sunday.
Posted — UpdatedPolice said that the pickup struck a Subaru at Shannon Oaks Circle and Kildaire Farm Road around 3:30 a.m. The pickup's front end sustained significant damage, and one of its tire burst, but the driver kept going for nearly 2 miles.
The driver abandoned the pickup at Pamlico Drive and West Cornwall. Police conducted a K9 search, but haven't located the driver.
The Subaru driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene. She was the only occupant of the vehicle.
