Driver sought after teen pedestrian hit

Garner police are searching for a male driver whose vehicle struck and injured a teenage girl walking in East Main Street Sunday night.

GARNER, N.C. — Garner police are searching for a male driver whose vehicle struck and injured a teenage girl walking in East Main Street Sunday night.

Police said that a blue Honda struck Dominque Ferrell, 16, of Raleigh, in the 400 block of East Main Street around 9:15 p.m. Ferrell was treated and released from a local hospital.

Police said the Honda has four doors and tinted windows.

Anyone with information about the possible identity of the driver or the location of the Honda should call Garner police at 919-772-8810. Crime Stoppers is offering a $250 reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.
