Fayetteville police were trying to identify a driver who was killed in a single-vehicle wreck on Santa Fe Drive Tuesday night.

Police said that the driver lost control of Ford Explorer westbound on Santa Fe Drive, near the All-American Freeway, around 11:45 p.m. The SUV struck a tree, ejecting the driver.
