DURHAM, N.C. — One man was critically injured Tuesday morning in a wreck that shut down part of Miami Boulevard for about two hours, police said.

Police said Tammie Rogers Overton, 45, was making a left turn from Presidential Drive onto Miami Boulevard at about 8:15 a.m. when a Chevrolet Prizm driven by Victor Julian Zelaya, 40, collided with her Dodge Caravan.

Zelaya, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, was taken to Duke University Hospital, where he was in critical condition, police said. Overton was taken to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, they said.

Miami Boulevard was closed between T.W. Alexander Drive and Lumley Road while police investigated the wreck.

No charges have been filed in the wreck, which remains under investigation.
