Driver charged in fatal Wendell crash
A driver has been charged after the death of a man hit by a car last weekend in Wendell, police said Friday.
Posted — UpdatedWENDELL, N.C. — A driver has been charged after the death of a man hit by a car last weekend in Wendell, police said Friday.
Maryland Jerome Vick Jr., 24, was hit on East Boxley Drive on June 30. He died Wednesday.
Camille Meijon Silver, 22, was cited Thursday with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle and failure to decrease speed while avoiding collision with a person.
Silver is expected to appear in court on Sept. 16.
